Arrival, hotel transfer & welcome dinner O/N hotel (D) (1350m./ 4414 ft.)

Meet in the airport, receive and welcome with flower garlands and transfer to hotel. Their after generally we discuss about the things need to do and late afternoon we settle the remaining of the preparation of the trekking. Then if there is little time left we may go for a short walk around, if not we go for dinner.
A spectacular flight and a jagged landing on a steep mountain runway brings us to the start of our trek at the village of Lukla [2840m]. After meeting the porters, we head up the DudhKoshiValley. Most of the flights to mountain region are in the morning due to the strong wind flow in the afternoon, so same to Lukla and we pass through a popular small village of Phakding and head to Toktok.

Toktok trek to Namche Bazaar 3440m./ 11249 ft.) (6 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Easy

We continue north following the DudhKosi river and on to Jorsale where we enter the Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. It is just a comfortable walk to get ready to climb to Namche bazaar which starts from the Hillary bridge. From here it is a short walk to the confluence of two rivers, the lmjaDrangpa (ImjaKhola) and the NangpoTsangpo (BhoteKosi) and cross the Hillary bridge,  followed by a steep climb (for about 2hrs.) to Namche Bazaar, the main town in the Khumbu region. Have to cross about 6 bridges. Namche is a prosperous Sherpa town and an important trading centre with a weekly Saturday market.

Acclimatization explore around Khumjung (3780m./ 12361 ft.) or Way to Thamo 3493m./11447 ft. / Thame 3800m./ 12453 O/N lodge (B L D). Easy plus 10.04.2017

Namche Bazaar explore around and overnight Namche Bazaar is tucked away between two ridges amongst the giant peaks of the Khumbu. Namche now boasts an abundance of lodges and souvenir shops. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day exploring to Thamo 3493m./11447 ft. / Thame 3800m./ 12453 or around  Khumjung (3780m./ 12361 ft.) It is a nice and old village in the region and comparatively it is a big village. More than this we visit to Khunde Hospital and also the one hour walk up to the Everest View Hotel above Namche for the sunset view of AmaDablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest.

Namche Bazaar trek to Tengboche, 3860m. / 12622 ft.) (6 hrs) and O/N lodge (B L D) Easy plus

From Namche, the trail contours around the side of the valley, high above the DudhKosi. Now we get our first really good views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and AmaDablam. Passing by several villages and numerous tea shops, we descend steeply to a bridge over the river at PhunkiTenga. The village is an excellent lunch spot, and here we can rest before making the steep climb to Tengboche. Although tiring, the hike up the zigzag path has numerous distractions, with rhododendron bushes, beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu. We stay near the monastery with Everest, Lhotse and AmaDablam framed in the doorway of our guest house. Last part of walk is bit difficult.

Tengboche trek to Dingboche, 4410m. /14221 ft.) (6hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Moderate

After breakfast we head up to Dingboche. On the way the Majestic Amadablam over shadows our day. On the way we meet a little Sherpa village called Pangbuche continue to Dingboche for overnight. Today we will be in different geography i mean we feel we are in Himalayan region and this day we really feel more close to mountains so people feel bit more tried than previous day and love to take more picture in every step so of course it might be less than 6 hours but we mentioned 6 hours.

Acclimatization around Dingboche , 4410m. /14221 ft.) trek up to Chhukung (4730m./15500 ft.) (4.30hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Moderate

Till Dingboche we walk for nearly1 weeks already, slowly ascent in order to acclimatize well. We go slowly to Chhukung (4730m./15500 ft.) and back. This is a last village of the route besides some commercial lodges ahead. Also this is a real important day to check themselves by the trekkers either they are fit to reach the destination of EBC and Kalapatthar or not as it is already in the elevation of 4750m. If there is no problem for every one and can explore around up to Chhukung and even some more they can build the confidents for the next day. After this, it is real Adventure and friends they are not much capable to support to each other except guide because they are feeling themselves tried one.

Dingboche trek to Labuche (4910m./ 16056 ft.) (6 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Strenous /Adventurous

We continue up the wide valley beneath the impressive peaks of Cholatse and Tawache on the left. We then turn right and climb more steeply towards the foot of the KhumbuGlacier. At the top of this climb there are many stone cairns, built as memorials to the many Sherpas who have died while climbing Mt Everest. The path then climbs gently along the glacier, to eventually reach the cluster of houses at Lobuche. An Adventurous day.

Labuche trek to Gorakshep (5140m./ 16808 ft.) (2 and half hrs) lunch and trek to Everest base camp (5380m. / 17592 ft.) and back Gorakshep O/N lodge (B L D)) Strenous /Adventurous

We continue our trek along the Khumbu Glacier and all the beautiful and completely different geography and reach to Gorakshep, the way from Lobuche to Gorakshep till Everest Base Camp is same type and we are really so close to glaciers and Himalaya. Lunch at Gorakshep. Walk to base camp and back would requires about 5-6 hours, following the Khumbu glacier, sometimes on moraine and sometimes on the glacier itself. The walk is especially interesting for the views of the 15-meters high series of ice, a feature peculiar to Himalayan glaciers. The base camp of the highest mountain in the world is mostly inhabited by several expeditions all over the world. Back to Gorekshep. Bit long and Adventurous day.Afternoon is free rest or explore around
Wake up early morning. The sunrise colors begin to appear on Everest, we make our way to the top of one of the finest viewpoints in the Everest region, Kalapattar. A best view point of the region and the place closest view of Mount Everest and more. Back to Gorakshep and take breakfast then continue to Today is downhill most of the way, as we retrace our steps to Duglha and descend to Pheriche. The Himalayan Rescue Association have a trekkers aid post here and it is quite interesting to visit. Real Adventurous day.

Pheriche trek to Phortse 3810m. / 12459 t.) (5 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Easy

We continue to follow the river and, walk through a very sloppy trail and the stream seem so deep dowm. We reach to have our lunch in Phorste. The way we are taking is from the upper part of Pangboche to reach to Phortse. This is a very beautiful Sherpa village with small jungle situated between the way to Gokyo Lake and the way to Everest Base Camp.

Phortse to Manjo (2805m. / 9172 ft.) (4 hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Easy

From Phortse we descend to the bridge over the DudhKosi at Phunki where there are water driven prayer wheels, then climb and contour around the hillside to Namche. First part of walk is bit step up and difficult. After Namche the way descend down to Manjo. Now we are taking the same way back. It will take about 5 hours trekking.

Manjo to Lukla 2840m, (5hrs) O/N lodge (B L D) Easy

From Manjo the trail descends steeply by crossing many small villages like Chamuwa, ThuloGumela, Bangkar by following the same river of DudhKoshi. Their after we reach and Pass  the village of Phakding (2610m) where we spent an over night on day 02. As we are already the last part of our trekking and it is already lowland as well so every one feel easy and dreaming a better food and accommodation of Kathmandu. By passing the village Ghat, Choplung, Chaunrikharka and we reach to Lukla an end of happy trekking.

You should be up to date with routine courses and boosters as recommended in the UK e.g. diphtheria-tetanus-polio and measles-mumps-rubella), along with hepatitis A and typhoid. A certificate of yellow fever vaccination is required if travelling from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission and for travellers having transited for more than 12 hrs through an airport of a country with risk of yellow fever transmission. On holidays to more remote areas you should also have a dentist check up. A good online resource is Travel Health Pro. Dengue fever is a known risk in places visited. It is a tropical viral disease spread by daytime biting mosquitoes. There is currently no vaccine or prophylaxis available and therefore the best form of prevention is to avoid being bitten. We recommend you take precautions to avoid mosquito bites
