Overview:
Mera Peak Climbing Trip brings one of the most wonderful trekking experiences in addition to the climbing adventure to the 6,461 meters high mountain.
Mera Peak In fact is a climb, but if you don’t consider yourself to be a climber then don’t let this put you off. It’s a good mountain for trekkers who would like a straightforward introduction to mountaineering. The majority of the ascent involves a walk up a glacier requiring basic ice axe and crampon skills. There is plenty of opportunity to gain proficiency in these at the bottom of the Mera Glacier. Although the mountain has a trekking summit of 6431m which needs nothing more than this, Mera Central, the summit most people climb, usually involves a 30 metre ascent of a 60° snow dome using fixed rope and jumar, depending on snow conditions.
Mera Peak would be a suitable objective for people with previous mountaineering experience (Scotland, Alps, New Zealand or North America Rockies etc) looking for a Himalayan expedition climbing over 6,000m.
This trip goes along the Hinku valley in the Khumbu region. Experiencing the less crowded trek along the Hinku valley and trekking over high Himalayan pass to reach the base camp of “Mera peak” is an amazing feat to the adventurers. Once you land at Lukla airstrip the Himalayan wonders begin to amaze us all throughout the trek and climb.
Trekking over Zwatra La pass and past the amazing places of Thuli Kharka, Khare and Kothe brings you the incredible joy of reaching the base camp of Mera peak for further adventure over the mountain towards the summit. View of 8,000 meters mountains Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kanchenjunga including several other mountain peaks from the summit of the 6,461 meters high Mera peak makes the trip truly unforgettable.
While you are on the trip, you will surely enjoy the adventure and when you are done with the trip, you will have a lot of memories to cherish and stories to share. Follow us on TripAdvisor

It is our intention to keep to the day by day itinerary detailed below, although there might be some flexibility due to local conditions or other factors beyond our control. If this is the case the trek leader will do everything possible to work out the changes to the itinerary in order to minimize your inconvenience.
Adventure travel requires an open and flexible attitude. You may experience extreme conditions, unpredictable weather and last-minute changes to the itinerary beyond our control. The ability to work in team is an important aspect of all of our trips.

SIGHTSEEING AND PREPARATION DAY:
Swoyambhunath
Believed to have been created on its own, this Budhhist stupa is the oldest of all the monuments in Kathmandu valley. Standing atop a small hillock, Swoyambunath, known as monkey temple amongst tourists, provides a fascinating view of the valley, surrounding hills and snow-capped mountain at the distance on a clear day.
Patan Durbar Square
One of the three medieval palace squares, Patan Durbar Square holds its medieval art and architectural grandeur. Amazing skill of the artisans is evident in each and every building that stands in the square. The square comprises of medieval palace, temples and museum.
Pashupatinath
This site is the most sacred Hindu temple area in the country. But, as the temple is strictly a Hindu only area, non-Hindu tourists go there to watch the unique Hindu cremation rituals on the bank of River Bagmati. The death rites of Hindu family there are so engrossing and heart-touching which make you feel the moment. It’s not any kind of intrusion in being there and watching somebody being cremated in an open ground. It’s a great cultural experience.
Boudhanath
This giant Buddhist stupa is considered as the biggest one in the world. This small square with giant shrine has a powerful presence of the spiritual vibrations. It’s an important pilgrimage site for the people following Tibetan Buddhism.

On holidays to more remote areas you should also have a dentist check up. A good online resource is Travel Health Pro. Dengue fever is a known risk in places visited. ALTITUDE
This holiday involves going to high altitude. During the course of your trip you will be above 40,00 metres for 1-2 days. This is not something that you should worry about; the human body is quite capable of adapting to a very wide range of altitudes, but it is important that we follow some simple rules in order to acclimatise successfully. Before coming on this holiday you should get some basic advice on Tours at high altitude.
CLIMATE
From mid June to August, we can expect to encounter temperatures as high as 40°C at karachi, Multan and Lahore, and 25°C in The Gilgit & Baltistan Region.
