Airport transfers and domestic flights are included in all our holiday package in Pakistan. Means of transport will depend on the holiday and the size of the group. In Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and other cities, we use a private bus for larger groups and private Salon cars for small groups. For Trekking and Expeditions, from Skardu to the trek start point, and back we use private 4WD jeeps. All our private buses/cars/jeeps are driven by experienced, and professional drivers.
Please note: The flight to and from Skardu & Gilgit is weather dependent due to the narrow mountain valleys. Should the flight be cancelled due to bad weather, we will have to use a private bus or a car and travel on the Karakoram Highway.

Roads

People in Western countries are certainly not used to travelling long distances by road. Although road users in Pakistan may not follow the rules, horns are used frequently and can range from the latest Bollywood song to Britney Spears. Although the government invests large sums of money in improving the road infrastructure, there is still much to be done. Consequently, some of the roads are poorly maintained, potholed, and uneven. During and after the monsoon, this becomes even more evident in the western part of Pakistan. Compared with Western countries, travel times are long and short distances are difficult to travel quickly.
