Tour Overview

Southern Pakistan Tour is ideal for you if you would like to enjoy both its usual glitzy sights and lesser-known heritage sites of Pakistan. Combining the sophistication of Lahore, the History of Multan and the cultural charm of Karachi, Pakistan ticks all the boxes for a Wonderful and memorable Holiday. Take the ultimate sightseeing tour of this fascinating land, offering a harmonious blend of picturesque landscape, history, great traditions and modernity. On this epic tour, the traditional charm and extraordinary vibe of cultural heavens like the Lahore museum, Unesco-listed Badshahi Mosque and the blood-boiling Flag ceremony at the Pak-Ind Wagha border will soothe your senses.

For many years, we have been offering culture tours, study tours and southern Pakistan tours in Pakistan for groups, students, couples and families from around the world. We have thoughtfully created a 10-13 days long Southern Pakistan Tour, which is best in terms of safety, rest and enjoyment. We can also customise the itinerary of this tour according to your needs and available time.

Our Southern Pakistan tour starting point is the capital of Punjab, Lahore. Our Representative will meet & greet you at Allama Iqbal International Airport, then transfer you to the hotel for a rest to recover from the journey. We will meet again in the afternoon for a briefing about your tour, depending on your arrival time, if there is enough time then we might do one of the sightseeing tours.

Lahore is the perfect introduction to Pakistan. Lahore has been the capital of Punjab for nearly 1,000 years. Besides being the Mughal Show Window, Lahore is the cultural, academic and intellectual centre of Pakistan. You will have two full days to explore Mall Road, Badshai Mosque, Anaar Kali market, Lahore fort, Wagha border for the flag ceremony and many other famous and historical places.

After the sightseeing tour of Lahore, you will continue your southern Pakistan tour towards Multan. Multan has its charm, culture and crafts. One might agree that the history of Multan is the history of the Indian subcontinent. The city is dominated by towering brick and marble shrines, in particular by its eleventh-century patron saint Shah Rukn-e-Alam and Hazrat Bahauddin Zakaria, with many others such as Shah Shams Tabrez. You will have two full days of sightseeing tours to explore this historical city before you drive to Bahawalpur.

Bahawalpur is the 11th largest city in Pakistan. The Founder of the state of Bahawalpur was Nawab Bahawal Khan Abbasi I, here you will visit the Noor Mahal, Derwar Fort and the tomb of Bibi Jawindi. After visiting this culturally rich city, your tour will continue towards Sukkar. Sukkur is one of the biggest cities of Sindh Province of Pakistan. It lies along the western bank of the Indus River. Night stay will be in Sukkur, then the next day you will head towards Hyderabad via Mohenjo-Daro.

Mohenjo-daro is an archaeological site which was built in 2,500 BCE. It was one of the largest settlements of ancient Indus Valley Civilisation. We will do a 1-2 hours quick tour around the archaeological sites, then drive to Hyderabad for the night stay. Hyderabad, once the capital of Sindh and now the third largest city of Pakistan, is one of the oldest cities in South Asia. After spending a night in Hyderabad, you will head towards Karachi.

Karachi is the biggest city in Pakistan and the fifth biggest city in the world. Karachi is known as the city of lights, which is also the industrial and financial centre of Pakistan. Karachi offers a variety of pleasant attractions for sightseeing: wide sunny beaches, deep sea fishing, yachting, golf and horse riding all year around. Places of Interest are, Mohatta Palace, Jinnah’s mausoleum, Wazir Mansion and Clifton Beach.

Our Southern Pakistan Tour will conclude in Karachi, so please make sure to book your return flight on the last day of the tour from Karachi.

We strongly believe that our thoughtfully created “Southern Pakistan Tour” itinerary is one of the best ways to explore the rich culture and history of southern Pakistan.

For hotel names, prices and single supplement costs, please send us an email. Hotels are subject to availability, and prices may vary.

Health & Vaccinations

You should contact your doctor or travel clinic to check whether you specifically require any vaccinations or other preventive measures. You should be up to date with routine courses and boosters as recommended in the UK e.g. diphtheria-tetanus-polio and measles-mumps-rubella), along with hepatitis A and typhoid. Malarial prophylaxis is discretionary for this trip. Malaria exists in the area around Lahore and Karachi. However, incidences of urban transmission of malaria are extremely low. On holidays to more remote areas, you should also have a dentist check-up. A good online resource is Travel Health Pro.

Dengue fever is a known risk in places visited. It is a tropical viral disease spread by daytime-biting mosquitoes. There is currently no vaccine or prophylaxis available and therefore the best form of prevention is to avoid being bitten. We recommend you take precautions to avoid mosquito bites.

We highly recommend that you have adequate travel insurance for your trip with Trango Adventure Pakistan.
