After sightseeing of Lahore you will head towards Multan. Multan has its own charm, culture and crafts. One might agree that the history of Multan is the history of the Indian sub-continent. The city is dominated by towering brick and marble shrines, in particular by its eleventh century patron saint shah Rukn-e-Alam and Hazrat Bahauddin Zakaria with many others such as shah shams Tabrez. You will have two full days of sightseeing tours to exploring this historical city before you drive to Bahawalpur. Bahawalpur is the 11th largest city of Pakistan. The Founder of the state of Bahawalpur was Nawab Bahawal Khan Abbasi I, here you will visit the Noor Mahal, Derwar Fort and tomb of Bibi Jawindi. After visiting this culturally rich city, your tour will continue towards Sukkar. Sukkur is one of the biggest cities of Sindh Province of Pakistan. It lyes along the western bank of Indus River. Night stay will be in Sukkur then next day you will head towards Hyderabad via Mohenjo-Daro. Mohenjo-daro is an archeological site which was built in 2,500 BCE. It was one of the largest settlements of ancient Indus Valley Civilisation. We will do a 1-2 hours quick tour around the archeological sites then drive to Hyderabad for the night stay. Hyderabad, once the capital of Sindh and now the third largest city of Pakistan, is one of the oldest cities of the South Asia. After spending a night in Hyderabad, you will head towards Karachi. Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and fifth biggest city in the world. Karachi is known as the city of lights which is also the industrial and financial centre of Pakistan. Karachi offers a variety of pleasant attractions for sightseeing: wide sunny beaches, deep sea fishing, yachting, golf and horse riding all year around. Places of Interest are, Mohatta Palace, Jinnah’s mausoleum, Wazir Mansion and Clifton Beach.

ARRIVAL DAY IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN:

Well come to Pakistan. Lahore is the perfect start point of our Pakistan sightseeing tour. On arrival at Lahore airport you will be met by our representative and transfer you to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, if you arrive in the morning then in the afternoon there is an option to do one of the sightseeings of Lahore. Lahore is a City which does not sleep, all the shops, restaurant and the tourist attraction points remain opens till very late in the evening.

SIGHTSEEING TOUR LAHORE:

 Lahore is the second biggest city of Pakistan and it is the capital of Punjab Province. It is the cultural capital and the heart of modern-day Pakistan. It has evolved through history, starting from the Jain religion, Hindu, Buddhist, Greek and Muslim Then the British Colony. There are so much to see in Lahore, the main Attractions are, Unesco listed Badshahi Mosque, Wazir Khan Mosque, Lahore Fort, Lahore Museum, Pak & India Border (wahga border) where the famous flag ceremony take place. Wahga Border is one and half hour drive from the main Lahore City. The flag ceremony starts at 4pm and finish at 5pm. It take place everyday, weekends are more crowded and busier.

DRIVE TO MULTAN (350 km) 6-HOURS:

After spending two days in Lahore, we will drive to Multan. Our journey will be mainly on the Highway, passing through some of the Punjab main town and cities. The main Cities which will be passing through are, Khaniwal, Mianchanu, Okara, Sahiwal, and Chicha watani. We will do few stops along the highway for tea breaks, visit mango fields and handicraft shops. It is a pleasant Journey with beautiful landscapes.

SIGHTSEEING TOUR IN MULTAN:

 Multan is one of the oldest cities in South Asia. It has seen a lot of warfare because of its location on a major invasion route between south Asia and central Asia. Multan was ruled by the various native empires before the invasion of Alexander the Great. During the early period, Multan was known as the city of gold for its large and wealthy temples. It is famous for its Sufi shrines, Tomb of Shah Rukne Alam, Tomb of Bhahudin Zakaria, fort Khona, Dehli Gate and many other sufi Tombs. All these Tombs stays open till 8pm and seven days a week. Thursday and Fridays are the busiest time. We will do some sightseeing on the Arrival day from Karachi and some next day.

DRIVE TO BAHAWALPUR, 3-HOURS:

After breakfast you will continue your Pakistan Sightseeing Tour by driving to Bahawalpur. Located at the edge of the great city of Multan, Bahawalpur is the getaway to Cholistan. It is a medieval city with its elegant palaces and colourful bazaars, Bahawalpur has a pleasant tranquility engendered by the endless kilometres of green rolling fields and slow timeless toil of the farmers, however, towards the south, the terrain becomes sandy. That is where the mighty Cholistan desert begins. In Bahawalpur, you will visit the Noor Mahal, Derwar Fort and tomb of Bibi Jawindi

DRIVE TO SUKKAR, 8-HOURS:

Early this morning, after breakfast, you will drive towards Sukkur. Sukkur is one of the biggest cities of Sindh Province of Pakistan. It lyes along the western bank of Indus River. Night stay will be in Sukkur.

DRIVE TO HYDERABAD, (330 km) 5 HOURS:

 After breakfast, you will continue your Pakistan Sightseeing Tour towards Hyderabad via Mohenjo-Daro. Mohenjo-daro is an archeological site which was built in 2,500 BCE. It was one of the largest settlements of ancient Indus Valley Civilisation. Excellently preserved, Mohenjo-daro is one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites. It is and enduring monument to the ancient history of the Indus Valley Civilisation. After visiting Mohenjo-daro, we will drive to Haiderabad for night stay. Hyderabad, once the capital of Sindh and now the third largest city of Pakistan, is one of the oldest cities of the South Asia.

After leisurely breakfast, we will take the Hyderabad motorway to Karachi. We will leave early to arrive in Karachi by lunch time. After lunch and a some rest, we will head out to do one of the sightseeing of Karachi.

During the Pakistan Sightseeing Tour, you will spend all nights in good international tourist standard hotel (3 star). Accommodation at each of these hotels is twin-sharing with en-suite facilities. Health & Vaccinations

You should contact your doctor or travel clinic to check whether you specific require any vaccinations or other preventive measures. You should be up to date with routine courses and boosters as recommended in the UK e.g. diphtheria-tetanus-polio and measles-mumps-rubella), along with hepatitis A and typhoid. Malarial prophylaxis is dicretionary for this trip. Malaria exists in the area around Lahore and Karachi. However, incidences of urban transmission of malaria are extremely low. On holidays to more remote areas you should also have a dentist check up. A good online resource is Travel Health Pro.

Dengue fever is a known risk in places visited. It is a tropical viral disease spread by daytime biting mosquitoes. There is currently no vaccine or prophylaxis available and therefore the best form of prevention is to avoid being bitten. We recommend you take precautions to avoid mosquito bites.

Climate

From mid June to August, we can expect to encounter temperatures as high as 40°C at Karachi, Multan and Lahore. The weather is generally hot throughout the summer season, with clear skies and little rain or snow. However, weather in Pakistan is difficult to predict, and short-lived storms can occur at any time of the year.

A passport with 6 months remaining validity at the end of your stay is generally required. The information that we provide is for UK passport holders. Please check the relevant embassy or consulate for other nationalities. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct travel documents and visas for your Pakistan holiday. Visa requirements and charges are subject to change without notice.

VISA PAKISTAN

All foreigners required a visa to enter into Pakistan. The visa fee is approximately GBP £60 and you must apply for it prior to departure. To obtain a visa for Pakistan you will require a letter of introduction from an approved agency which will be provided by Trango Adventure. Visa applications can be made ONLINE or in person at your nearest Pakistan consulate.
